Practical tips for new PhotoRally players: collecting cars, racing lines, weather and online races.

New to PhotoRally? These tips will help you collect cars faster and post better race times.
Collecting cars
- Use daylight and a three-quarter angle for reliable recognition.
- Visit car meets and city centers to find variety.
- Do not rush: a clear photo beats a quick one.
Racing
- Learn one city first before switching.
- Brake before corners, not in them.
- Use the racing line: outside-inside-outside.
- Try different cars; each handles differently.
Weather and time of day
Rain reduces grip and visibility. Night races need attention to headlights and contrast. Practice in daylight first.
Online races
Join open races or create a room with a code for friends. Compare times on the leaderboard and aim for the daily top ten.
